Edinburgh
Farrer delivered a software and data management solution to enable Scottish Water staff to record properties affected by low water pressure.

Heywood
Farrer Consulting carried out drainage asset investigations in Cherry Willingham and Washingborough villages, on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council.

Kharafi National, a large contractor based in Kuwait, requested Farrer's Engineers to provide technical and design support for tender preparation for a BOO (Build, Own, Operate) scheme in Muharraq, Bahrain.

Leicestershire County Council commissioned Farrer Consulting to undertake a drainage asset survey of Rothley village in Charnwood, Leicestershire. The contract required Farrer to deliver an asset inventory of surface water drainage features.

Edinburgh
In October 2008, Farrer were invited by North Ayrshire Council to conduct a trial road asset inventory collection project. The trial involved the surveying of 10km of urban road and 20km of rural road utilising the stereo video capability of the IBI groups RouteMapper, combined with traditional surveying techniques to provide superior positional accuracy of data.

Severe flooding incidents have taken place at Dalmarnock Railway Station just outside Glasgow City Centre. In particular two recent incidents have caused major disruption to trains and the passengers and freight that use them. Network Rail approached Farrer Consulting to carry out an assessment of the station drainage system aimed at avoiding further disruption during the forthcoming Commonwealth Games and afterwards.
